A pro coach, pro players passing through, and a family of athletes and parents who make DDLA home.
Former professional catcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization (2006–2009) and with Gigantes del Cibao in the Dominican winter league. Luis is dedicated to developing athletes both on and off the field — with a passion for mentorship and performance training, he focuses on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and discipline in every athlete he works with.
Professional MLB players train at DDLA when they're in town — and young athletes get to watch them work up close.
Trained on DDLA's fields — and in 2023 was selected in the Major League Draft by the Minnesota Twins. This is the standard we aim for with every athlete.
At DDLA, families don't just drop off at the gate — they stay, watch, cheer, and belong. The pavilion bleachers, game days, and farm events are part of what makes DDLA a community, not just an academy.
English and Spanish spoken — and there's always room at the fence for one more.
Whether you're an athlete ready to train, a coach who wants to teach, or a family looking for community — DDLA has a place for you.
