Team Structure, Applied to School

Home school families choose DDLA because their athletes get what's hard to build at home: daily structure, peers who push each other, and mentors who check progress. Supervised study blocks pair with training so academics and athletics move forward together.

The same standard from the field applies in the study room: show up on time, do the work, get better every day.

A Day at DDLA

How the Day Flows

A steady rhythm across study, training, and the farm — designed for athletes ages 7–18.

1

Study Block

Supervised academic work — athletes move through their home school curriculum with support and structure.

2

Field Training

Hitting, fielding, speed, and strength — the day's athletic block across fields, cages, and turf.

3

Farm Rotation

Horse and animal care, fishing, and agricultural projects — real responsibility, not theory.

4

Review & Mentorship

The day closes on DDLA's four pillars: discipline, development, leadership, and agricultural education.

Agricultural Education

The Farm Is the Classroom

We connect athletes with nature, responsibility, and hands-on learning through agriculture — the pillar that makes DDLA one of a kind.

Horsemanship

Riding and handling horses builds calm, confidence, and respect.

Animal Care

Feeding and caring for the farm's animals — consistency you can't fake.

Fishing & Nature

The property's ponds teach patience — the same patience baseball demands.

Real Responsibility

Agricultural projects where today's effort shows up tomorrow.

Discipline learned caring for something alive shows up later in every at-bat.
